What we hate, however, is the snobbish beer reviewers out there who completely ruin what it means to be a beer drinker. There's no need to describe a beer in 5 syllable words or compare the taste to some sort of fruit salad or cologne. We like to leave those snobbish reviews to the wine community.

Simple Reviews

At Beer Briefs, we like to keep reviews brief and straight-forward. We use the standard rating system of Appearance, Smell, Taste, Mouthfeel, and Drinkability. That's it. Tell us what you think about those aspects of the beer and maybe compare it to a similar beer.
